I Am A Self-Taught Clay Artist, First Experiencing Clay 20+ Years Ago. After Extensive Classes And Workshops As A Member Of The Clay Studio, In Philadelphia, The Baltimore Clay Works, The Main Line Art Center And Perkins Center For The Arts I Became A Studio Potter At Pomona Clay Studio In Haddonfield NJ. I’m Also A Member Of The Main Line Raku Guild In Haverford Pa, And The Potter’s Council, An International Organization.

I Work With Commercially Manufactured Earthenware, Stoneware And Porcelain Clays. I Use Various Firing Techniques: Electric, Gas, Raku, Saggar And Wood. My Current Work Has A Painterly Expression, Placing Emphasis On The Surface Design. The Wheel Thrown Form Is Intentionally Off Centered To Bring Playfulness And A Dance Like Movement. A Layering Of Clay Slips And Underglazes Are Applied With Use Of Wax Resist And Mono Printing Techniques.
